Foundation day of Communist Party of Bhutan

(Marxist-Leninist-Maoist)

Samchi:7th Nov. 2016: Communist Party of Bhutan (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist) was founded on 7th November 2001. The revolutionary party was founded under the dynamic leadership of Com. Vikalpa, the founding General Secretary of the party, for the first time in the soil of Bhutan.
The then Organizing Central Committee was formed by the representatives from both Bhutan and the Refugee Camp, abroad. CPB (MLM) is the only party in the history of Bhutan which was formed in the soil of Bhutan and raises voice in favour of down trodden people and fights against the absolute monarchy.
Today, on this historical moment, Com. Vikalpa, the founding General Secretary of the party said in a statement that since all other organizations have been passive, the sole responsibility of the Democratic Movement has come on the shoulder of CPB (MLM) in Bhutan.
He, further added , but CPB (MLM) has to face the challenges like Focoism, Neo-rivisionism, dogmatism, personality cult,  narrow sectarian trend etc. in the party itself. He further added, D.P.T. and PDP are nothing but the safety valve of the monarchical regime to add life to the present autocratic system.

Atlast, he concluded by telling that CPB (MLM) will never give up hope to scrap down the suppressive system of rule in Bhutan and establish people’s democracy in future.

CPB (MLM) expresses deep sympathy...

Phuentsholing, Bhutan: 31/12/2011: CPB (MLM) expresses deep sympathy to the victims of fire incident of Beldangi Bhutanese Refugee Camp, Jhapa, Nepal. 18 huts were ablaze and turn into ashes on 21/12/2011 at around 9.00 pm.
It is believed that fire started from the briquette stove of Mr. Ram Bdr. B.K’s hut, who hails at Beldangi 1, sector G, hut no. 12, at 9.00 pm. According to police, the victims were rehabilitated to near by school buildings and donor agencies’ premises. 7 huts were completely ablaze and 11 were demolished in the rescue operation.
Expressing deep sympathy towards the victims, Com. Vikalpa, the G.S. of CPB (MLM), regretted that the Camp Management Committee (CMC) and Nepal Government have been failing repeatedly to check such painful incidents. He also appealed the donor agencies and the Government of Nepal for the minimum humanitarian remunerations for the victims. He also urged the party cadres to extend possible helping-hand in the rehabilitation work.

Massive land surveying in southern Bhutan

Samchi, Bhutan: 31/12/2011: A massive land-surveying is going on in southern Bhutan. In past, there were chain-survey, table-survey etc. to demarcate the land of people. Later, government introduced so called even more modern methods to do the same. But people say that this has been a conspiracy against them to seize their land property which they own since their forefathers’ time.
The former survey team finalized their work and government provided people the documents based on it. But in the ongoing survey, the survey team has been chocking out some part of the land claiming that there has been excess land in the people’s name.
People are suspicious that this has been again another initiative taken by the Royal Government of Bhutan to ail people to force them exile. This has been the another part of “Grand design” executed by the autocratic monarchical regime of Bhutan to back up ethnic cleansing policy as per the official version of the Com. Vikalpa led Communist Party of Bhutan (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist).
